We have two part-time intern positions available beginning Sept 19, 2011. Successful candidates will be recent graduates from a college or university photography / video or film / graphics program. On-set digital technicians are welcome to apply however they must possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates their retouching skills and experience. The ideal candidate is looking to establish a long-term career in the post production industry.
Primary Responsibilities for this position include:
• raw processing and file optimization for production
• basic retouching and compositing of images for use in commercial advertising and national magazines
• minor colour correction and image enhancement
• research and development
• constant training and improvement of skills
Qualifications:
• basic knowledge of raw processing software required
• basic knowledge of Photoshop CS 4/5/5.5 required
• basic knowledge of the entire CS 4/5/5.5 Design Suite / Production Suite preferred
• basic retouching and colour correcting skills preferred
• basic colour management experience preferred
• must be personable, knowledgeable and comfortable working directly with clients
• have the ability to follow guidelines and instructions accurately
• have strong communication and organizational skills
All candidates will be asked to take a colour vision test.
